Sawmill Park

 Find A Campsite

Sawmill Park offers 25 sites and has hand pumps, pit toilets, pavillion and fishing dock. This quiet, remote campground is the perfect place to get away and relax. It sits amidst over 16,000 acres of public forest land, nearly all of it designated as a non-motorized unit. The campground, and Sawmill Lake, offers direct access to a canoe portage trail connecting to 6 other undeveloped lakes. Dozens of other undeveloped lakes in the nearby area offer excellent fishing opportunities.

You may make a reservation by using a credit card using this website. Washburn County also offers, on a limitied basis, the ability to reserve a site using a check or cash, by calling the Forestry Office in Spooner at (715) 635-4490. If calling to make a reservation, please be aware that this is a field office and we may not be able to immediately take your call.

All campsites are reservable from May 1 to September 30. Before May 1 and after September 30, sites are available on a first come, first serve basis.
